The Winter Solstice Festival is back for 2026, lighting up Northey Street City Farm on Saturday 27 June! Come celebrate the changing of seasons with a night of music, markets, bonfire and festivities.

This year, we Return to the Light – inspiring us to work together to create a better world for all. Our theme speaks to our values at the heart of every Winter Solstice Festival: community, sustainable living, and creativity. Just as we create fire and lanterns to stay connected with one another in the dark, we seek community and care to find hope in difficult times.

Join us for an immersive day of inspiring workshops and panel discussions, ethical food and maker markets, live music, and activities for the whole family. And, of course, our annual bonfire and lantern parade!

Winter Solstice Festival entry is free for First Nations attendees.

Gates Open at 1:30pm for a 2:00pm start, Saturday 27 June.
